West Vancouver’s premier waterfront music festival pauses for the upcoming season as organizers shift focus to future programming.

Vancouver, BC – June 19, 2025 – The organizers of Ambleside Music Festival have announced that the event will not be taking place in the summer of 2025.

“This is one of the hardest messages for us to share,” said the Ambleside Music Festival team. “Our team has poured so much heart into this festival, and we were truly hoping to return to Ambleside Park this August.”

GSL Group, which proudly funded Ambleside Music Festival and other music events at Ambleside Park since its inception in 2009, has made the difficult decision not to proceed with a festival in the summer of 2025. With economic uncertainties creating an unstable environment in early 2025, the decision was made to take a pause.

To date, Ambleside Music Festival has featured a diverse lineup of world-renowned artists, including Ed Sheeran, Sarah McLachlan, Neil Young, Kenny Chesney, and many others, creating lasting memories for fans across the region.

“To our incredible fans, vendors, sponsors, and partners—thank you,” the festival team added. “You’ve helped us build something truly special on the North Shore.”

While the festival will not take place in 2025, planning is already underway for a future return. “We’re not saying goodbye, but rather see you later. Until then, we encourage everyone to keep the spirit of Ambleside alive. We look forward to continuing this festival’s legacy in the years to come.”
